Product Categories
The Product Categories section allows you to create, delete, edit, and restore product categories.
Product Categories enable the establishment of a multi-level category structure (first level, second level, etc.).
Existing categories are displayed in the workspace of the section as a list.
Description of Product Category List Fields

| Order | Order of the product category in the list |
| Products | Number of products in the corresponding category in the PIM system database |
| Active | Current status of categories in the system, distinguishing between active (available for use) and inactive (temporarily disabled) categories in the PIM system database |
| Translations | Availability of localizations for the category name and can have values: RU, EN, etc. |
Creating Categories
- Go to the Product Categories settings section.
- Click the Add button.
- Fill out the Create Category form:
- Input field Order (optional): determines the order of the category in the list. Set the desired value using the “+” and “-” buttons. The default value is
1. For example:1. - Input field Code (optional): can be used by external systems to filter categories by code. Not filled out by the user.
- Toggle Active: determines the current status of categories in the system. The default value is “Active”. Set the toggle to the desired position.
- Toggle Top-Level Category: determines the nesting level of the category. The default value is “Active”. If necessary, set the toggle to the desired state and fill out the Parent Category field:
- Selection field Parent Category: allows you to select a parent category for the nested category. Choose the parent category value from the provided list.

- Input field Name (required): defines the name of the category. Enter the name of the category to which your product belongs.
- Language tabs: determine the availability of translations for the category name for the selected locale. Fill out the language tabs if necessary.

Upon successful creation, the newly created category will be displayed in the list of categories in the section.
Editing Categories
- Go to the Product Categories settings section.
- In the workspace of the section, find the desired entry and click Edit...
- Edit the form:
- Input field Order (optional): determines the order of the category in the list. Set the desired value using the “+” and “-” buttons. The default value is

Upon successful editing, the edited category will be displayed in the list of categories in the section.
Deleting Categories
- Go to the Product Categories settings section.
- In the workspace of the section, find the desired entry and click Edit.
- Click Delete. To confirm the deletion, click Confirm, to cancel the deletion click Cancel.
Upon successful operation, the deleted category will disappear from the list of categories.
Restoring Categories
- Go to the Product Categories settings section.
- In the workspace of the section, set the toggle Show Deleted.
- In the workspace of the section, find the desired entry and click Edit, then click Restore.
Upon successful restoration, the restored category will be displayed in the section's list.
